Clouseau
Clouseau – Tweesprong, Warner Music Benelux
“The impact, especially on a promotional level, has been great. For instance, the Belgian news even devoted an item to the project and it was further widely picked up in the Belgian media. Feedback from the fans was also mainly positive. This was especially exciting given Clouseau’s older target group and the disruptive nature of the project.”

In the 1980s, the introduction of the music video brought a huge change in the possibilities of storytelling around a song. It enhanced the intensity of the connection between songs, bands and fans. Before the music video, there were only filmed TV performances, like TopPop. The music video allowed artists to visualise the story of a song and the role they played in it. This alternative to the somewhat static Tv performances and interviews boosted the reach of their music. Whereas music videos were first only viewable on TV, they are now available online everywhere on all kinds of platforms.
And now a new era has arrived. Augmented reality will enable visual engagement in a new way. Where this has previously been seen with Eminem and Madonna, Clouseau may also join this list.

Together with Warner Music Benelux, Clouseau were the first ones we got to record in the studio! In total, we got to develop three augmented reality music videos, which can be viewed in the “Tweesprong” app.
By filming Clouseau in volumetric they will be able to be placed lifelike in any location to show their unique music video. With the combination of visual elements, the story of the song becomes very engaging for the user to watch. Immerse yourself in Clouseau’s songs and download the “Tweesprong” app soon to discover this new way of enjoying music videos!
