Discover the new music of your favourite artist by visiting their fantasy world. A world where each track has its own visual story, which you can experience in complete freedom. Doesn’t that sound great? With Future Static, we have made such an experience possible.
Future Static is the audiovisual project of musician, performer and audiovisual designer Raynor de Groot (aka Coloray). This project explores the field of tension between music, animation, film and interactive design, testing the relationship between man and technology.
In the virtual world of Future Static, the visitor steps into a concept world in which music and images merge seamlessly, forming a symbiosis between what one hears and sees at that moment. Visitors can discover several virtual shows and view digital art. All designed by the artist himself.
For the virtual shows we filmed Coloray in volumetric video, so that the virtual shows can be viewed from any angle. This resulted in a very immersive experience, which earned us a nomination for VR Experience of the Year.
