TRIVHE: TRaining In Virtual Human Environments
TRIVHE, Schola Medica

As an aspiring doctor (in emergency care), it is best to be as prepared as possible for medical emergencies. TRIVHE: TRaining In Virtual Human Environments provides innovative preparation in emergency care. This is done by virtually exposing general practitioners (in training) and medical students to stressful situations by means of a virtual reality (VR) scenario training.
TRIVHE works around the digitalization of actors who simulate an emergency scenario so that various (ABCDE) protocols can be practiced in a context that is difficult to imitate in a life training setting. This creates a realistic Virtual Reality training tool that can save lives.
The combination of virtual reality and volumetric video ensures that the training can be viewed from all angles. Look over the doctor’s shoulder, keep a close eye on bystanders and zoom in on the part you would like to master better.
